Military Bands. I am going to put here pics of Military Bands from a Facebook group. (Edited 2025)

Military Bands have always been there as a theme for collecting Toy Soldiers, probably the charm is the variations of instruments and the very colorfful uniforms.

In fact some collectors specialize in them.

Part of my collection includes them.

BUT in my time I had to sold some “to make room”… a decision that I regreted later (at least for some items). But one do really make mistakes sometimes.

Enjoy!

My ida of collecting… not mine at all mind… seen in Facebook (Military Bands page)
Two amalgamated Bands from a special set from DUCAL.
My own Musique de la Legion Etrangere… done in 2025.
The Old set I sold in a fit od stupidity… much better Band nowadays… but a mistake nevertheless.

Military Modelers seem to enjoy the challenge of painting tartan… see here a quite fine example.
