Paul uses thid pic sometimes to celebrate the entrance of new members in our FaceBook site (or Group)… yes… mytoysoldiersandme … 450 members from ’round the world. I am much busy nowadays and keeping the webpage alive everyday consumes my time so I do not post a lot in FaceBook… but other members do so regularly!
A great hobby!

It has been a long time, but finally decided to show what craftsmanship can do… Above a badly need of repair set… below the awesome concept and execution. 54mm with a vengeance!… Wish I had this level of “ability” in my fingers. Enjoy.

Somewhere else in this collection of posts I have already mentioned his great contribution to Toy Soldier literature (specially Britain’s), and still consider his book COLLECTING TOY SOLDIERS “the” reference book. Of course he advises Auctions and has a job connected with buying and selling items… but this is not here not there. He has (still) a fantastic collection (much revised and streamlined if you know what I mean). So he deserves a Post of his own. Enjoy.

You know I am a fan (first the father then the son).
Notoriously difficult tartan… but also the white lace.
Look at the soldier looking sideways to keep alignement!… a very nice touch!
So…
Enjoy!

And here it is… the last published pics on Facebook.
The details are superb, cuffs, chevrons, and horse attelage… for once matt finish is to the point!
Enjoy!

Should have said new masterpiece!… really his work is a permanent source of inspiration for everyone to care to look.
By the way… mounted figures in the background would be one day in the near future converted too… for our pleasure…
Enjoy!

They do not come better than this in matt finish. Toy Soldiers bordering or tiptoeing the thin line between them and Military Modeling.
Awfully good if you ask me. Enjoy

Sorry I forgot to include the mounted soldiers on last day post… here they are… and truly impressive too… sometimes I complain to my wife about the lack of market in ANDORRA concerning Toy Soldiers… probably knowing myself this is probably for the better!… lol
