That box started it all…

Britain’s extra large set (two trays) Coldstream Guards… fantastic gift from my parents!
detail

Now, that brought along a lot of reminiscences… seen in an Auction in the USA… not that I am going to bid at all… I had the real thing at the time it was needed…

I already had a lot of plastic, rubber and aluminium toy soldiers… but that box suddenly become the apex of my loot!

Sorry for the poor quality of the pics but they were really small.

As you all know I was hooked on Toy Soldiers for life…

Steadfast set… I have asked for the nurses (both) and the Medical officer (fourth from the left)

My armies have no casualties, sorry about that… for me Toy Soldiers never die… and of course I found annoying the idea of wounded and streach-bearers… I am particular about that. So there you have it an on purpose incomplete set.

The Line Units (Clicks Napoleonicos EspaƱa)… great conversions!

Most of you would not be interested at all but Playmobils are FUN to customize… 75mm means your fingers are able to do it without much trouble or craftsmanship… the results are great but a bit on the expensive side… those who do enjoy making very big DIORAMAS… you need all sorts as you already know.
